I’ll leave you to guess what each picture is meant to convey, but will include a link to the original pdf that I extracted the picture from. While I hope you enjoy the pictures it is a serious topic - do you have a ‘to go’ bag for incase of flood, powercut or whatever else? A torch somewhere? A battery powered radio? A plan for family members to get in touch if cell/mobile phones stop working?

Saturday, July 26th, 2008This one I love because we pretty much know what is meant but at the same time, it is just so wrong. If anyone is interested this is on the North side of East 43rd Street, between Fifth and Madison Avenues in New York. First off the whole doorway - with the area of interest circled.
Yes, I know, a little out of focus. I am no great photographer and this is the best I have. You can see the full location of these doors if you look at google maps and check out the street view - they are to an Equinox gym.

Thursday, July 17th, 2008For this funny sign you would not believe the number of times we drove round a series of one way blocks just to get back to vaguely near this sign, park the car, get across the street and into position to take this photo, but worth it in the end.
No smoking….and we mean it
Tuesday, July 15th, 2008The funny sign for today comes to us from a bar in Vermont. This place, as well as having a healthy attitude toward smokers, served the best turkey, cranberry, cheddar and apple sandwich you have ever tasted.
